Son dernier livre écrit avec sa femme Danièle de Villemarest ''Le KGB au cœur du Vatican'' est le fruit d’une longue enquête sur l’action des services du KGB et du GRU qui, après avoir fait de la haute hiérarchie de l'Église orthodoxe russe une annexe de leur propagande, ont pénétré, depuis les années 1920, les arcanes du monde catholique, à travers des Congrégations, le Secrétariat d’État, l’Osservatore Romano, l’Ordre de Malte et la Banque du Vatican, dont la trésorerie se trouva au bord de la ruine au début des années 1980.<br />

On découvrira notamment le rôle de Licio Gelli, créateur de la loge P.2, compagnon de route du KGB, les circonstances qui conduisirent à l’assassinat du chef de la Garde suisse et le vain effort de noyautage de Solidarnosc.<br />
